What we read from Apple Health
Your past runs — distance, duration, and heart rate — to estimate your fitness and set training paces.
GPS routes from runs logged in other apps, so Run Detail can show a map and splits.
What we write to Apple Health
A summary of each run you record with ZephyRun — distance, duration, and route where available.
Location
ZephyRun uses your location only while you're actively recording a run, to calculate pace, distance, and route.
What we store on your device
Your training plan and preferences (units, notifications, audio coaching), your strength logs, your shoe closet (names, miles, and any photos you add), which workouts you've sent to your Apple Watch, and routes your Apple Watch sends to this iPhone during a run. There's no account or login.
What we never do
Your health data stays on this iPhone. There's no backend server in ZephyRun — nothing is uploaded automatically.
We never sell your data or share it with third parties, and never use it for advertising.
Instrumentation (app usage patterns, visible in Settings) is logged locally on-device only — it's never transmitted anywhere unless you choose to include it in a feedback email (see below).
If you email us feedback
Settings → Send feedback opens an email to us. It includes your app version, iPhone model, iOS version, and a few settings, which you can read and edit before sending.
You're always asked whether to include a diagnostic log (event names and error codes from the last 24 hours — no locations, names, or health readings). Nothing is sent unless you press Send in Mail, and we use what you send only to fix problems and reply to you.
Your controls
Export your run history or delete all local app data anytime from Settings → Data & privacy.
Children
ZephyRun isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same page and reflected in the app's own Settings → Privacy Policy screen.
